ProPensions Ltd, represented by Mike Kennedy

Mike has worked in the pensions industry for over 25 years. He spent most of that time as a consulting actuary advising trustee boards and employers on the management of their defined benefit pension schemes. This advice included all aspects of funding, investment and risk management strategies.

In 2019 Mike set up ProPensions Limited to provide professional independent trustee services to pension scheme boards. The Northgate and Rebus schemes were among the first appointments for ProPensions, with Mike joining the trustee board in November 2019. Since then the business has grown and ProPensions now act as the professional independent trustee on over 30 pension scheme boards across the UK. This allows them to bring wider experience of other pension schemes, as well as previous consulting experience, to benefit the management of the Northgate and Rebus Schemes.

Mike is married with two children and enjoys cycling, rugby and motorsport.
